Anticipatory grief can begin the day we first meet our new pet. The realization that we will someday say goodbye. It may just be a quick moment, that then quickly shifts to excitement as we fall in love with our new best friend. While this session will have a focus on senior pets, pets with terminal illness and pets experiencing big lifestyle changes, it’s open to all of you no matter what stage you are at with your pet. Learning about this type of grief, understanding how it can show up in your day to day life and ways to help navigate it can benefit us and our pets at any time in their life.
